Pain is one of the most poorly understood complications after a stroke. It’s commonly under-reported, under-diagnosed and undertreated. Post-stroke pain can include headache, muscle and joint pain, shoulder pain and nerve pain. Proper evaluation, diagnosis and treatment can help.
